tntypography is the website of Titus Nemeth, currently based in Paris and specialised in Arabic typeface design, typography and custom type.
Titus Nemeth studied Graphic Design at the Graphische in Vienna and holds an MA in Typeface Design with distinction from the University of Reading, UK. After graduation, he lived in Syria and studied Arabic at the University of Damascus while starting to work as independent typeface designer. In 2008 Titus taught typography as Assistant Professor at the VCU Qatar in Doha before moving to Paris, conducting further research about Arabic typography at the post-diplome of the ESAD in Amiens.
These settings are both occasioned by and a source of inspiration for Titus Nemeth's interest in multilingual typography and typeface design. Though today based in France, his outlook remains worldwide. He teaches typography at the ESAD in Amiens and the ESAV in Marrakech, Morocco and worked for international clients such as Fontsmith UK, Brill in the Netherlands and WinSoft in France. Titus Nemeth is a member of ATypI the TDC New York and Design Austria.
