An additional strength of Nassim is its range of weights. While quite common in Latin typefaces, until recently few Arabic typefaces support more than two weights. This paucity is further amplified by the lack of an established auxiliary style for differentiation; the role an Italic companion plays in Latin script typographic practice.

Nassim’s five weights prove useful to fill this gap and provide solutions for typographic differentiation in complex texts such as dictionaries.
